Web 2.0 conference in Cork, June 8th

Tom and IT@Cork are running a mini-conference on Web 2.0, June 8th in the Radisson Hotel, Little Island. There’s an impressive line up:

The speaker list includes Salim Ismail, co-founder of PubSub, Shel Israel, co-author with Robert Scoble of the business blogging book Naked Conversations and Fergus Burns, founder of Nooked.

There’s also a geek dinner [there has to be a better term, “geek dinner” is just not all that appealing to us non-geek geeks] planned for the evening prior to the event.

If you’re in Cork and you have even a passing interest in the Web and where it’s headed, I reckon it’ll be worth checking out.

You going to come along to the “Geek Dinner” and christen it with a better name? :)

Jenny - you are right, that is why I called it a blogger’s dinner in my post about it!

    Hi Damien,

If it was “Glamorous Geek Get-together”, or “Bloggers Bunfight” I’d be there in a heartbeat :) I’m hoping to make it along, depending on babysitter etc. I’ll drop a note to your post once I know for sure.

    Ho Tom,
Don’t you think one of the above alternatives sounds like a lot more fun? ;)
